: : I'm comparing the Terry Dakota 726K (ultralite construction) to the Terry 26K (conventional construction). The ultralite has fiberglass/foam sandwich construction with aluminum frame, while the conventional has wood frame/aluminum skin construction. There is a significant weight wavings with the ultralite. What is the disadvantage of the ultralite construction. There must be some disadvantage, or all trailers would be made that way. Any comments?

: We have a 2001 Keystone Bobcat 277EBS with fiberglass sides. It is in the shop even as I type waiting for the new front panel to be replaced. This unit has a slide that they replaced a seal on so we will no longer see daylight at the corners when it is pulled in. There have been several things like this pop up in the 5 months we have owned it but the dealer has always fixed it with no problem or complaint.

: Our trailor is 29 feet long 8 feet wide 5080 pounds dry and has ducted air. We love everything but the small bathroom, a well placed curtain has even cured that.

: Check out www.camperclinic.com and you can see floorplans and specs for the Bobcat and many others.

Sounds like you have had a lot of problems. Are any of these problems due to the laminated fiberglass construction?
