: : We have a 2001 Keystone Bobcat 277EBS with fiberglass sides. It is in the shop even as I type waiting for the new front panel to be replaced. This unit has a slide that they replaced a seal on so we will no longer see daylight at the corners when it is pulled in. There have been several things like this pop up in the 5 months we have owned it but the dealer has always fixed it with no problem or complaint.
: : Our trailor is 29 feet long 8 feet wide 5080 pounds dry and has ducted air. We love everything but the small bathroom, a well placed curtain has even cured that.
: : Check out www.camperclinic.com and you can see floorplans and specs for the Bobcat and many others.
: Sounds like you have had a lot of problems. Are any of these problems due to the laminated fiberglass construction?
The front end cap is being replaced because it "bubbled" in several spots, in other words it delaminated. From what I was told, the end caps are made differently than the sides and not much of a problem to replace. Moisture and humidity on the day the panels are glued seems to be the cause of panel failure. I'm not very happy that it bubbled but we do love the trailor. When we pick it up I will find out what kind of warranty the new panel will have and let you know.
